CCN celebrates Canada

With Canada Day fast approaching, the Canadian Cybersecurity Network wanted to celebrate the great things that are happening in this country, as it relates to cybersecurity and technology communities.

Francois Guay founder of CCN says “As a community focused on defense, we tend to focus on the negative a lot a lot as our goal is to defend Canada and its assets, but we need to celebrate Canadian greatness as well, from innovative programs, individual excellence to companies and communities breaking technology and business barriers.”

So as part of our national celebration we wanted to celebrate cybersecurity greatness so we can continue to inspire technology and innovation breakthroughs. During the month we will highlight some amazing people, companies, programs, and community achievements. At the end of the month, we will issue a mini report so it can be available for others to innovate and leverage from.

Collaboration and connecting people and companies is the key to growing cybersecurity innovation and growth in Canada. We need to make every effort to share knowledge and best in class practices so Canada can stand strong.
