If you had to strip down the Canadian Cybersecurity Network's purpose to one sole thing it would be in its ability to connect individuals and organizations, to help them grow and succeed. That is no small thing in this busy world of ours where technology seems to pull us in so many directions. But the most powerful thing we can do in life is to connect with others, to learn, grow and add value around common purpose and to enjoy life.
CCN's recent focus on building out our cyber practices, what I like to call our communities of practice within our larger community is all about bringing together individuals and businesses who work in the same common area of interest so we can accelerate learning, meeting and connecting individuals and businesses.
When I reached out to the community to see who wanted to help with the cyber practices, I had seventy-five calendar bookings in my calendar within days. And the best part of talking to all these CCN community members was to learn what they were excited about, what they needed to be successful and what they hoped the community could bring them. I loved talking to all the members and I hope they could see how happy I was to get to know them and how important building this community is to me.
If all of us focus on making more purposeful connections daily, we will all help accelerate cybersecurity growth in Canada and in making everyone in the community feel a little more connected. Join today, connect and make a difference.
