The Canadian Cybersecurity Network (CCN) proudly launched CCN Connect, a new Discord platform designed to foster networking, collaboration, and professional growth. In just five days over the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, CCN community volunteers—including Amrinder Singh, Davinder Kaur, Juliet Oyulu, Folashade Bassey, Muhammad Atif, Sharon Sylvester, Nixon Ruiz, Selassie Susuawu, Lars Stevenson, Diana Barbosa, Khushboo Pachori, Lino Martinez, Ifeoluwa Ogundele, Blake Lindsay, Archana Narayanan, Mugiesshan Anandarajah, Osasu Odigie, Stefan Lesaru, and James Cairns—worked tirelessly to test, validate, and customize the platform’s look and functionality. Special thanks to Charlie Tse and Steve McMichael who brought Discord to our attention at different times until it finally made an impact. Everyones insights shaped a space where members can connect, learn, and collaborate effectively from day one.
Francois Guay, founder of CCN, highlighted the platform’s importance: “The Canadian Cybersecurity Network is all about connecting people and businesses to help accelerate cybersecurity careers and entrepreneurship. CCN Connect is the digital glue that brings together all our services—like canadiancybersecuritynetwork.com, canadiancybersecurityjobs.com, our training and our mentoring and coaching programs—into one collaborative vehicle. We believe it will appeal to the community by ensuring participants can access what they need, when they need it.”
Designed to be the go-to space for the Canadian cybersecurity ecosystem, CCN Connect enables members to build relationships, share expertise, and find the right resources to grow their careers or businesses. With a focus on inclusiveness and real-time interaction, the platform will serve as a critical collaboration hub.
Join CCN Connect today and experience the power of networking within Canada’s largest cybersecurity community—because we are always Stronger Together!
